How to Calculate Discount

To find the sale price, you first calculate the discount amount and subtract it from the original price.

Discount Amount = (Original Price × Discount%) / 100
Final Price = Original Price - Discount Amount

Double Discounts (Stacked Offers)

Be careful with "50% + 20% Off" deals. It does NOT equal 70% off. You apply the first discount, get a new price, and then apply the second discount to that new price.

Example: ₹1000 - 50% = ₹500. Then ₹500 - 20% = ₹400. Total discount is ₹600 (60%), not 70%.

How do I calculate "X% Off"?

Simply multiply the price by 0.X (where X is the percentage). For 20% off, multiply by 0.20 to get the savings, or by 0.80 to get the final price directly.
